PETA Ltd are looking for an E-Commerce Assistant Apprentice to join our client. If you have an interest in vintage fashion and administration, please apply for this role today.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a thriving online business who design and produce 1940s inspired clothing. The brand is recognised worldwide as one of the leading 1940s reproduction companies with a combined following on social media of 100k+.

About the role

The E-Commerce Assistant Apprentice will be responsible for a range of general office administration. Other duties will include:

E-commerce administration using WordPress, Shopify, Etsy and more.
Website maintenance, tracking inventory, adding/updating products.
Excellent and personal customer service via email/messenger
Physical stock and warehouse management
Order fulfilment (pick, pack, and dispatch)
Processing returns and exchanges
Gradual social media involvement
Gradual e-mail marketing involvement
Attending seminars/webinars for E-commerce growth Training to be provided

This position is offered as an apprenticeship and you will be completing a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You will be employed directly by the client but be support every step of the way by PETA.

The majority of your training will be completed with your employer at your place of however, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of our PETA training centres for off the job training.

Essential Skills

The ideal E-Commerce Assistant Apprentice will be profiecient at using MS Office, Outlook and social media platforms. They will also be experienced at talking to customers and clients. It is also important that they:

Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Have excellent time management and are able to prioritise workload
Are keen to learn and creative
Have an interest in IT, web and social media
Have a flexible attitude towards completing a range of online and offline tasks
Have a positive attitude towards all aspects of work
GCSE Maths and English grade A*-C / 4-9 or Level 2 equivalentDesirable Skills

Basic knowledge of Photoshop
Innovative, confident and proactive approach to work
Interest in clothing or vintage fashionAbout Company

Our client design and create 1940's inspired clothing made in signature Rayon Crepe de Chine fabric. They use their archive of original 1940's patterns as inspiration to ensure true authenticity and attention to detail.
