What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Work across our Engineering division to get a clear understanding of the business
  • Work closely with our internal operational teams and our external supply chain
  • Learn to identify package risks on projects and possible solutions
  • Monitor and forecast project costs
  • Assist the procurement team with administration tasks including cost reports & supplier evaluations
  • Provide forecasts and reports to operational teams
  • Work towards a CIPS membership and become a fully qualified procurement member

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • You will train at one of the top performing colleges or training providers in the country
  • Level 4 Building Services Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Level 4 Commercial procurement and supply CIPS
  • Block release at college
  • You will regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
  • Once qualified there is the potential of a permanent position within the company. If you successful gain a permanent position there are many opportunities to advance your career.
