We are looking for enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated individuals who are keen to develop their skills to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Bart's Health NHS Trust offer a two year Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician programme. This involves practical work based learning as well as gaining underpinning knowledge. Support will be provided for development and training.

After successfully completing the two year course you will be eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C/Level 4 or above and must include Maths, English Language and Science (Double Science award or two individual Sciences e.g. biology, chemistry, physics). Certificates will need to be provided prior to interview stage in order to be verified.

The post holder will rotate through various areas of Pharmacy including Dispensary, Lloyd's Outpatient Pharmacy, Medicines Management, Medicines Distribution and Technical Services. You will be offered a variety of experience and training across each of the four hospital sites:

Royal London Hospital

St. Bartholomew's Hospital

Whipps Cross University Hospital

Newham University Hospital

Applicants should be committed, hardworking, have excellent communication skills and have a passion for pursuing a career as a Pharmacy Technician.

All candidates must be eligible to meet the Apprenticeship funding criteria.
