The post holder will ensure the smooth running of the Directorates Administrative Office and support the Directorate Head of Nursing team by providing administrative and secretarial support and contribute to the operational management of the Directorate's services. The post holder should take responsibility for a full range of duties and all administrative and organisational tasks on an on-going basis. The post holder is expected to maintain complete confidentiality at all times and to represent the Directorate in an efficient and courteous manner and contribute to the Directorate, Trust and national target achievement.

We are looking for dynamic and inspired Personal Assistant who can thrive in an acute hospital environment. You must be highly motivated willing to learn new skills able to work independently and also as part of a team.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and good knowledge and understanding of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom and access data bases.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work within an acute setting alongside an experienced team and achieve an apprenticeship

During the recent Covid pandemic the division has worked to support all staff to ensure their managing their mental health, emotional and spiritual well-being. We have supported staff with well-being support Hubs creating safe, private spaces for them to have a chat, a hot drink and biscuits or a walk in the local park next to the hospital.

We can offer a supportive environment and training, as well as supervision. There will be regular opportunities to work with other professionals within the multidisciplinary team. There are a few clinical settings which can offer such breadth of experience.

You will experience the challenges of working within a diverse multicultural society and work within a supportive team where you will have the opportunities for personal development reviews and training.
