The Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Graduate Recruiter / Resourcer Role

Learning to be a Recruitment Consultant is an interesting and challenging experience, it's very exciting and can offer a great salary if you are wiling to take some knock backs and work hard. Learning these skills will give you a great grounding to work within the recruitment industry long term and develop a lucrative career.

The role includes:

• Researching potential new clients

• Contacting new clients to build relationships and encourage them to use us for their recruitment needs

• Negotiating Recruitment fees terms of business

• Client meetings (online)

• Writing and posting job adverts

• Searching for suitable candidates online

• CV screening

• Interviewing candidates by telephone to create an appropriate shortlist for the client

• Writing up CV coversheets and tidying up candidate's CV's so they're ready to be sent over to the client

• Arranging interviews for candidates and supporting them through the hiring process

• Getting interview feedback

• Negotiating job offers for successful candidates

• Taking references where needed and managing all admin

• Occasionally headhunting and networking where needed

• Maintaining relationships with new and existing clients

• Capable of working towards targets

Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Graduate Recruiter / Resourcer Candidate Profile

You don't need to have any recruitment experience, but some experience of working in an office would be preferred. You'll need to have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be IT savvy, have a strong work-ethic and can-do attitude. You need to be a natural people person, confident dealing with clients and candidates in a professional manner.

You will need:

• Educated to A Level, degree level or equivalent

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills

• Be ethical - have an interest in improving the world

• Hard working and enthusiastic

• Capable of working towards targets

• Have good office skills, able to use word, excel etc to a basic level minimum

• Well-presented and confident

• Work well within a team and have a healthy competitive spirit

• Ambitious, self-motivated and be committed to being successful

The role is part time, 25 hours a week, ideally 3 days a week but this can be spread over more days for the right candidate, the role will be home based initially due to Covid.

You will receive employability support through the DWP Gateway via online workshops covering job search, CV and application writing and interview skills workshops. As a company we will deliver the final element of employability support by developing your recruitment and office skills in the workplace as well as providing mentoring and career advice. Training will be given online and in person when it's safe to do so.

The salary is minimum living wages depending on your age plus uncapped commission.
