Reports to: Senior Estimator / QS (Projects Division).

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Senior Estimators / Quantity Surveyors to:
  • Prepare estimates and cost plans for refurbishment and conversion projects ranging from £100k to £2.5million, including the measurement and quantifying of all necessary works
  • Procure all necessary resources for delivery of secured projects, ensuring that costs are controlled within budgets
  • Prepare main contract valuations and final accounts
  • Manage changes and variations to the main contract and to subcontracts
  • Agree and certify interim valuations and final accounts with subcontractors and consultants including the resolution of and contractual claims
  • Maintain financial controls and monitor costs of projects against budget
  • Produce project financial reports for incorporation into the company's management accounts
  • Collate and issue project documentation to form subcontract enquiries and contracts
  • Maintain project records and files
  • Process subcontract and purchase invoices for payment

Health & Safety:

Desired qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Construction and Built Environment (or equivalent).
