On 1st February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust - a truly once-in a generation development. Are you looking to build on your nursing Band 5 experiences and develop your cardiorespiratory nursing skills as well as gain shift management experience?

We nurse level 1 and level 2 patients with end stage cardiac heart and respiratory disease who require a range of organ support interventions. This includes the following:

  • BIPAP
  • CPAP
  • Inotrope therapy
  • Intra aortic balloon pumping
  • Intermittent haemofiltration
  • Ventricular assist devices

Full support is given by our practice education team to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge required to meet the critical care needs of patient cohort.
