The role:

Working closely with our experienced management team, learning and covering a broad spectrum of marketing, including:

  • implementing marketing campaigns to both new and existing contacts

  • liaise with magazines, negotiating and booking advertising, editorial and press releases

  • copy writing and designing advertisements

  • researching and developing new products with the management team

  • competitor analysis and market place research

  • planning, developing and maintaining social media, both specific campaigns and day to day running

  • organize and attend internal and external events, including national and international exhibitions

  • database management

  • general administrative duties

Skills and attributes:

  • a marketing / business related degree, with an interest in business to business marketing, seeking your first marketing opportunity

  • A keen eye for detail to ensure all customer communication and marketing materials are accurate

  • A fun, 'can do' attitude

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Experience working within a business environment

  • Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone

  • Self motivation

  • Flexible and able to prioritise workloads

  • Experience at working to budgets

  • Honest

Remuneration:

  • 22 days annual leave per annum

  • You will be based at our offices: 9-13 Marsh Green Road North, Marsh Barton, Exeter, EX2 8NY

  • There is free onsite parking.

Core hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday 08.45 - 17.15

  • We are looking for a minimum 1 year commitment, preferably 2 years.
