We have an exciting opportunity at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing to recruit 2 graduates to for a 5-month period to our Risk and Compliance Team. This is a new team within our Customer Services Directorate, and we support our Housing, Care & Support and Central Customer Services teams to deliver excellent services. Our work includes compliance (making sure we are working within our regulatory and legislative requirements); training and policy development; and risk management.

In the 5 months you are with us, you would be helping us with specific projects to deliver improved services to our customers and support your frontline and community-based colleagues. For example, you might be?

Building structures that support us to understand and communicate some of our operational risks (like vaccine uptake), and strategic risks (like the changing financial landscape of the social care sector).

Helping to build the compliance structure for our Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated activities ? including provision of equity loans to help people buy homes, and debt advice for people facing financial difficulties.

Developing a new emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) framework and policy.

Project managing parts of our Covid-19 Recovery Plan for our care and support services.

You could work from one of our London offices, or our main Midlands office in Nottingham ? but we?re likely to be working predominantly from home for a while yet ? so providing you can get to one of these offices every now and again, we don?t mind where you?re based.

The Salary for these roles is GBP25k (Nottingham) or GBP28k (London) and we offer a range of benefits from discounted gym membership to 360-degree health screening and paid complimentary therapies.
