We are currently recruiting a Learning and Development Manager to join our established People Team, to evolve and lead the Team. The successful applicant will be pivotal in delivering education programmes to both internal and external delegates.

Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens, The J's and Little Havens.

We are currently recruiting a Learning and Development Manager to join our established People Team, to evolve and lead the Team. The successful applicant will be pivotal in delivering education programmes to both internal and external delegates.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Working in partnerships with departments across the charity ensuring continual improvement of practice and contribute to policy/strategy development within the department
- Manage strategic collaborations with delivery partners ensuring accessible, high quality, affordable and bespoke training offers to meet charity workforce training needs.
- Ensure new starter training and inductions are consistent and compliant with HR and Health and Safety policies.
- Lead, develop and evaluate all mandatory training.
Candidates will have:
- Experience of business partnering with stakeholders.
- Confident in performance consulting and coaching approaches to identify development solutions.
- Accomplished training design and delivery skills.
- Ability to draw on a variety of different L&D interventions as needed.
- Proactive leadership skills to effectively lead and manage the Learning and Development Team.
- Would be advantageous to have either a HR and or a Learning and Development Qualification.
- Knowledge of competencies Apprenticeship frameworks.
- Experience in L&D at cross functional level.
