Hours: 37.5 per week

The Northern Care Alliance (NCA) are looking to appoint a Principal Educator who will lead the development, delivery and quality of the clinical professional education portfolio which includes: pre-registration studies; undergraduate placement support; early career development; new workforce roles including TNAs, NAs, pre-registration apprenticeships; CPD and post-graduate studies, including curricula quality management/assurance requirements.

We are looking for a registered professional who will provide clear and effective leadership to the non-medical education teams and relevant medical education teams, promoting collegiality, ambition, innovation, efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring delivery of the annual education and training plan.

In addition the successful candidate will represent the NCA at a number of external meetings with key stakeholder eg partnering universities, GM community footprint whilst ensuring robust governance and reporting within the organisation and external partners including HEE.

You will be accountable to the Group Director for meeting service objectives whilst providing engaging, transformational and inspirational leadership for the service leads and educators to enable them to achieve their goals and pursue excellence in learning, teaching and academic activity.
