Sopher + Co are Accountants and Tax Advisers who make it their business to understand and add value to clients personal and business affairs. We are looking for a Business Support Administrator Apprentice to join our team to provide general administration duties across the whole department.

Role responsibilities for the Business Support Administrator Apprentice:

Acting as the point of contact and providing general support for internal and external clients
Liaising with senior Managers and Partners to handle requests and queries
Meeting and greeting clients
Ensuring all queries are answered in a timely and professional manner
Producing and posting of Engagement letters
Completing new client forms
Answering and directing phone calls promptly and politely
Creating reminders for accounts due at Companies House
Producing Pre-Audit letters, obtaining Partner signatures and sending onto relevant members of staff for processing
Electronic filing on Virtual Cabinet
Filing, clearing and sorting files
Organising and scheduling internal and external appointments through Outlook calendar
Photocopying, scanning and printing duties
Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Manager

Requirements for the Business Support Administrator Apprentice:

Good educational background with an interest in a progressing career in Accountancy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
Outstanding time management skills
Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Confident in working to a high standard
Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to your work
A strong ability to work autonomously and thrive under pressure
A great team member, proactive and motivated
Intermediate computer operational skills with a solid knowledge of the Microsoft suite, Outlook
Professionalism and confidence
