Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate / Trainee Construction Recruitment Consultant. Previous experience is not essential but an outgoing personality and nature would make the transition into a sales role more likely to be successful. There is a very strong possibility that at the end of the Kickstart scheme an extension to the role would be available.

Key responsibilities:

With the support of Senior team and Directors the role will involve building, developing and maintaining a successful client base which will form the basis of a targeted sales area. This will involve adhering to KPI targets to maximise growth potential and quickly evolve to negotiating business contracts to close deals.

After training you will be providing specialised and competent blue or white collar operatives/staff to companies for temporary assignments. This will require a strong attention to detail to further develop and maintain both the client and candidates databases.

You will be trained to ensure the support team attract and evaluate suitable candidates through competency based interview techniques and professional reference checking and will in time be responsible in assisting with the management of the support team to ensure all business correspondence, CV preparation, mail and e-shot marketing is completed.

The person:

It is essential that you are a strong communicator with an outgoing, confident manner. A car owner would be beneficial but not essential and it is expected that you will have strong I.T. skills.

You will need to live within commutable distance of our Cardiff office in Roath. A degree would be beneficial but not essential, however a good level f both English and Maths to a minimum of GCSE level is essential.

Benefits:

Number of hours per week Initially 25 but could rise to 40

Age You MUST be between 18 - 24

Working hours Initially 10am to 4pm with 1 hour lunch on a Monday to

Friday basis but potential for hours to increase.

Hourly rate of pay National Minimum Wage

Training:

The successful applicant will initially be given an intensive 3 day training course by our Cardiff based Systems and Training Manager who will take you through our bespoke CRM system, update you on relevant policies including Right to Work in the UK as well as the current Recruitment Agency legislation.

After this has been completed you will be assigned to one of our busy teams and it will be the responsibility of the Divisional Manager of that team to ensure that the ongoing training is maintained with weekly assessments and refresher training at pre-arranged intervals.

One of the Directors will arrange a meeting with both the Training Manager and the Divisional Manager to assess the weekly progress and all positives and indeed any negatives will be fed back to the individual as either tasks to target improvement or to remove the topic from any additional training requirements..
