What will the apprentice be doing?
With coaching and mentoring support from the D&E team, you will learn to:
Support product design development
Create, change & maintain accurate technical 3D models, drawings and written specifications
Develop and maintain best practice and procedures within the role.
Ensure you follow all H&S initiatives & zero harm initiative that are relevant to what you are undertaking
Provide general technical help and support across the business
Organise your own workload and achieve deadlines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be supported through a structured in house development programme and a range of classroom based workshops and virtual learning with Sheffield University AMRC Training Centre to gain a BEng in Maufacturing Technology ensuring you attain the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours to achieve your apprenticeship.
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship you will be appointed a workplace mentor to support you with your learning.

Things to consider
We require a minimum of: • 5 GCSE's Grades 9-4 (A*-C), including Maths and English or equivalent • 3 A-Levels Grades A*-B including Maths and Physics or Engineering or equivalent • Preferably some understanding/knowledge of engineering or design technology • Candidates must pass the AMRC Assesement to be considered for the apprenticeship.
