What will the apprentice be doing?

You will assist our Commercial and Operations teams, gaining an understanding of core financial management such as cash flow and budgeting; Assisting with managing project costs; Maintaining good business relations with clients; Supporting the engagement and management of our supply chain; Assisting with Commercial administration including; applications, contracts, certifications, permits, etc; Preparing tender and contract documents; Learning to identify risks and solutions within contracts

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During your apprenticeship you will typically spend one day per week attending Preston College (term time only), to complete the Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The sky is the limit! On completion of your Apprenticeship you will be a valued member of our Team, as a Quantity Surveyor.

There may be opportunity to progress to the Quantity Surveying Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

You will need excellent communication skills both speaking and writing, and you must be organised and understand the importance of good timekeeping and attendance.
