The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join a well-established cleaning and disaster restoration company.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Business Administration.

Duties will include:
  • Answering the phone (reception) - transferring calls where necessary
  • Quoting for carpet and upholstery cleans
  • Book in all new jobs and delegate the works to the staff
  • Arranging for skips/plumbers/electricians as and when required
  • Updating the WIP when new jobs come in
  • Creating files for new jobs
  • BER Listing
  • Courtesy calls after completion of job
  • Arranging/booking in works
  • Updating reinstatement sheet
  • Filing
  • Rota for on-call staff
  • Letters to customer - follow up and quotes
  • Receive mail and log in post log
  • Making up files for new staff/keeping staff files up to date with relevant work sheets
  • Diary management - for cleaners to do the jobs
  • Uploading photos to the system - SAMS

The Person:
  • Initiative
  • Telephone manners
  • Understanding of how to handle difficult clients
  • Mature attitude

Skills Required:
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 and above or equivalent
  • Business administration experience
  • Use of computers

The successful candidate will study a Business Administrator Standard Level 3. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:
40 Hours Per Week - 8.30am to 5.00pm with ½ hour lunch
£4.55 - £8.72 Per Hour
£182.00 - £348.80 Per Week
