Join your local NHS - Cleaners required for Dorset's community hospitals

Roles are available in multiple locations including;
  • Swanage Community Hospital (Swanage)
  • Westminster Memorial Hospital (Shaftesbury)
  • Yeatman Hospital (Sherborne)
  • Bridport Community Hospital (Bridport)
  • Westhaven Community Hospital (Weymouth)

The county's community hospitals are calling for cleaners to support our existing teams and help make a difference during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Cleaners are required across Dorset for Dorset HealthCare-run hospitals, our hospitals are looking to recruit people to undertake all aspects of cleaning, flexible working options are available including evenings and weekends.

Richard Northwood, Facilities Manager at the Trust, said:

"Hygiene and cleanliness are central to the battle against COVID-19. This work will not only support our hospitals, but also give local people the chance to get involved and help their NHS protect people and save lives."

Full training will be provided and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.

Applicants will need to be diligent, hardworking, trustworthy and able to follow procedures. We are looking for people who have the right values and want to make a difference.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
