Job Title: Accountancy Advanced Apprentice

Salary: GBP14k-GBP17.5k depending on experience

Location: Shoreham-By-Sea

Hours: 30 hours per week

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a desire for a career in accountancy and wants to gain a broad and thorough knowledge of how an accounting practice is run and all the attributes required.


You will learn daily on the job whilst studying for your AAT Level 3 qualification.
You will get first hand exposure to all the fundamental elements of accountancy such as self-assessment tax returns, payroll, pensions, CIS, VAT and company accounts.
You will carry out bookkeeping on a variety of cloud based software such as QuickBooks and Xero and be responsible for the implementation and integration of various 'bolt-on' Apps, all with a view to making the bookkeeping process as efficient and concise as possible.
There will also be an element of office administration including client onboarding, company secretarial tasks and website and social media upkeep.
You will receive hands-on training which should allow you to develop your knowledge and skills quickly within the role. You will be given the responsibility to design your own processes with a view to creating efficiencies within the practice.Requirements

The company ethos centres around customer service and therefore you must be confident and personable.
You must also be articulate with good verbal and written communication skills.
They work with various accountancy software and Apps, so you will need to be highly computer literate and tech/App savvy.
You must be driven and motivated to continuously enhance your knowledge and be committed to studying the AAT course.
Typical personality traits of a good accountant are someone that enjoys problem solving, is meticulous and methodical, is highly organised and it goes without saying good at maths.Entry level requirements

AAT level 2 or experience in accountancy or bookkeeping.Benefits
