About the apprenticeship


• Answering and directing telephone calls to the correct department. Taking accurate messages when unable to transfer calls and relaying to the appropriate staff member.
• Respond to new member enquiries by sending out information packs and application forms.
• To assist with the management of activity club bookings and liaise with line manager when taking enquiries.
• Manage bookings of the Multi-Sensory Suite, welcome members of the public who come to access it and ensure safe use of equipment (Full training will be given)
• Gather and record feedback on our services. Assist with the collation of feedback and evaluation of evidence for grant monitoring reports.
• Set up and prepare of rooms for events and meetings.
• Utilise Your Space Social Media accounts to advertise and market our services and activities.
• Assist with office duties dependant on workload and deemed appropriate by your line manager such as:
 Collecting and sending of post.
 Shredding confidential waste.
 Photocopying and scanning important documents.
 Logging of financial transactions
 Filing, stationery orders and to assist with other office duties dependant on workload and deemed appropriate by your line manager.

Additional information

This post is for 16 hours per week.



• An interest in the complex needs of children and young people with ASC and a willingness to learn more about these needs.
• Commitment to providing an excellent service.
• Interest in office work
• To interact and cooperate with all staff, volunteers, and Trustee Directors in a polite and professional manner.
• Help to maintain the Charities excellent reputation by building trust and communicating effectively with our families, professionals and members of the public.
• Welsh language skills would be an advantage bit not essential.
• Be willing to learn new skills and continue professional development.
• Ability to function well as part of a team.
• Have confidence to work independently and use own initiative.
• Excellent punctuality and ability to manage own time effectively.
• Have an understanding of equality, diversity, equal opportunities,
anti-discriminatory practices as well knowledge of data protection, confidentiality and safe storage of information.
• A warm and enthusiastic personality would fit well in our team.
