An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship within the Clinical Measurements Team at the James Paget University Hospital as a Cardiac Physiology Apprentice.

The apprentice will gain experience of working in a clinical environment. They will gain confidence and highly transferable skills and knowledge for their future career.

Duties include:
  • preparing examination rooms and equipment
  • facilitating patient's progress through reception
  • supporting the ECG and ambulatory monitoring service of the department
  • assisting qualified staff with clinical and admin duties
  • supporting the reception area by undertaking reception duties, answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries

The role involves training to gain a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Clinical Healthcare Support and undertaking the Care Certificate.
