About the apprenticeship

Duties

Under the guidance and supervision of suitably trained staff, the apprentice will develop skills and abilities in, and assist the various departments with:

Attending and taking part in regular team meetings and regular reviews with line manage etc.

Assisting to deliver biodiversity projects in a timely manner as well as provide support to an existing workforce.

Assisting to deliver key biodiversity objectives and learning about habitat management.

Assisting to deliver community engagement activities and to deliver key biodiversity messages as well as provide practical support and knowledge to the local community.

Assisting to deliver the new Action for Nature plan and future community works/ activities as part of our new ‘Living Landscapes' projects.

Supporting the Countryside section in the maintenance and management of the Public Rights of Way network.
