The East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to become an integral part of the COVID-19 Testing Service based at its Colchester Hospital sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team that consists of qualified and unqualified staff catering for our staff and patient swab testing.

You will be supported in the role and will be issued with the necessary PPE to carry out the role safely.

The post holder is responsible for performing the swab testing procedure in line with current clinical standards, responding to all patients' needs while reassuring individuals throughout the testing process. You will efficiently deliver the daily tasks and testing plan, while adhering to all hygiene and infection control guidelines. You will be helping the team understand performance targets and goals, scheduling work hours and shifts, providing reports to management, assisting in HR issues

The successful candidate will be flexible and enjoys working as part of a team. You will have previous care experience with a level 2 qualification in healthcare with excellent communication skills.

The testing service operates 7 days a week, 08:00- 20:00 and therefore, the post holder will be required to work on a rota basis.
