What you will learn to do:
  • Work with team to develop and draft Risk Assessment Method Statements
  • Assist with site surveys, setting out and site investigations
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans and associated check sheet for the works
  • Ensure and undertake quality checks in accordance with the ITP's
  • Draft Permits for the works
  • Prepare and maintain registers to support safe system of works
  • Liaise with the Site Foreman to ensure adherence to safe methods of work
  • Ensure health and safety is given the highest priority in the delivery of the works
  • Spend 20% of your working hours by studying towards a Level 4Construction Site Engineering qualification

Desired qualifications

You will hold a standard set of A levels, one of them ideally in Maths or Physics. Other relevant vocational qualifications, relevant industry experience or Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in a STEM related subject will be also considered.
