As the Trust is a multi-site organisation you may be required to work at any of the Trust sites and you may need to change your normal place of work, either temporarily or on a permanent basis, as a result of development or reorganisation of Trust services.

ESTATES DEPARTMENT, GOOD HOPE HOSPITAL

CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

SALARY BAND 5 (£24,907 - £30,615)

PERMANENT - FULL TIME 37.5 HOURS, plus on-call, plus overtime if required

Two time served electrical or mechanical craftsperson with relevant City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications, plus experience of electrical installation work or heating, ventilation and water systems.

Duties of the post include the installation, commissioning and day to day maintenance of the hospitals Building Management Systems.

The successful applicants will be based at Good Hope Hospital providing a maintenance service for all the Trust's properties. You must possess a current, clean driving licence.

There will be a requirement to participate in the on-call rota for out of hour's maintenance cover and working at height or in confined spaces.

The Trust offers an NHS Pension Scheme, good working conditions and the opportunity to enhance the salary by participating in occasional overtime working.
