With previous experience from the NHS or private care as a Registered Nurse , you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, service user care and the clinical environment.

As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the clinical environment as you provide leadership to your peers and manage the clinical services throughout the wards and units.

What you will be doing

As a Charge Nurse, you will ensure adults with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

This service operates 24/7 you will work shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Things you will have
  • First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge
  • Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills

You will empower and support people to reach their own unique goals while you learn about implementing five core zones of Work and Education, Interventions, Social Networks, Health and Empowerment. The service has two distinct wards and two-bedroom apartments that support independent living. You'll also benefit from access to mainstream resources within the local community.
