What will the apprentice be doing?

Preparation of Scope of Works

CDM Regulations

Selecting/appointing contractors to undertake property repairs and developments

Preparation of Health and Safety Files and Construction Phase Plans

Tendering process for construction and refurbishment projects

Review and prepare of Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Project, site and contractor management

Commissioning Site Investigation Surveys and Reports, Utility Searches, Drainage Scheme Designs

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be supported through a structured in house development programme and a range of classroom based workshops and virtual learning with Leeds College of Building to gain a HNC in Construction and the Built Environment ensuring you attain the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours to achieve your apprenticeship.

Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship you will be appointed a workplace mentor to support you with your learning.
