Sales Support Apprentice will be responsible for assisting the sales team with key activities relating to customer business development. This will involve direct contact with existing and prospective customers and working closely with sales managers and other key staff to grow sales for our new BDX AI technology platform.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Progressing and developing new sales leads
  • Daily contact with existing and prospective customers
  • Daily telephone contact with customers, sales team and partners
  • Input and maintenance of key sales support systems such as Pipedrive CRM
  • Production of regular sales management reports from our Dashboard
  • Desk-based research to obtain key information for new customers
  • Social media research to ensure the sales team are well informed
  • Diary management for customer and team meetings
  • Occasional visits to customer sites

Desired qualifications

Good standard of general education to GCSE level (or equivalent) to include GCSE in English and maths at Grade C/4 or above IT qualification is desirable.

Things to consider

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
