Fromeside is an 81 bedded Medium Secure unit based in Bristol and has 6 male wards and 1 female ward. Wickham is a 31 bedded Low Secure unit which provides care to male service users with both acute and rehabilitation needs. Our t eams are innovative and creative and we have a high emphasis on groups and therapies within the wards. Service User involvement is at the heart of our work.

Duties include supporting individuals with fluids and nutrition, physical wellbeing and personal care. You may also assist service users with financial or accommodation issues, escort or accompany service users for planned periods of leave on hospital grounds etc and encourage service users to talk about their experiences in one-to-one or group discussions. It's a challenging role but incredibly rewarding.

Working closely with our multi disciplinary teams, supporting service users, you will receive training to complete the NHS Care Certificate and a Level 3 Healthcare apprenticeship if you do not already hold a relevant qualification.

The ward operates on a 24/7 shift basis and you will be required to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays and will qualify for unsocial enhancements in addition to your basic pay.
