Come and join us at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Trust (AWP). We are looking for new colleagues, with a passion for helping people, to join us as Healthcare Support Workers in our teams based in Weston Super Mare.

Juniper Ward, part of AWP based at Weston General Hospital, is an 18 bed mixed gender acute ward in Weston Super Mare, just a short commute from Bristol.

We have a strong multi-disciplinary team which sees our nursing, medical and therapies teams working collaboratively whilst providing support and education for all. Our team is passionate, innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic and practice great therapeutic skills.

We are committed to developing our staff and you will receive a great induction, training to complete the NHS Care Certificate and a Level 3 Healthcare apprenticeship. You will also be required to undertake training in PMVA (Physical Management of Violence and Aggression on appointment.

We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced Health Care Support Worker who has an interest in mental health, is passionate about service user and carer experience and has a willingness to learn and develop.

The role requires working a mixture of shifts and weekends (early shifts 07:00-15:00, late shifts 13:30-21:30 and night shifts 21:00-07:30).
