What will the apprentice be doing?
The primary role is to successfully complete a Level 6 Ordnance Munitions and Explosives Degree Apprenticeship (Test and Evaluation Pathway). This exciting training position will develop the post holder to become an individual with the competences for analysing, interpreting and evaluating technical information, concepts and ideas to propose solutions to problems whilst working with testing and evaluating explosives, ordnance and munitions for defence and commercial customers.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Apprentices will study a Level 6 Ordinance, Munitions and Explosives degree apprenticeship with the University of Wales over a period of 5 years. This will include block learning weeks throughout the programme at the University of Wales campus in Swansea.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The aim of this apprenticeship it to become an Assistant Trials Officer after successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
