About the role
The Graduate Energy Analyst will report directly to the Head of Energy Management or Senior Energy Managers.
Their main focus will be to assist the S/EMs with the data gathering and analysis for the various services.
They will also be responsible for completing the Desktop Audits and reviewing their results for data errors, periodically reviewing energy insights data and raising any issues with the EMs and providing the requested data and administration for services like the CCA management, SECR, etc.
Being office based the Energy Analyst will be the field teams' best point of contact for and data request or any quick, bespoke analysis. Furthermore, they will be manning the energy control Centre and be responsible for reviewing the systems alarms. Furthermore, they would be best placed to screen clients identified by the Business Generation team for services like, CCA - Min/Met, SECR, etc.
Responsibilities
* Data provision for the various reporting tools that cover existing client requirements including: CCAs, SECR, Efficiency projects, load shifting and storage.
* Liaise with customers & Account Managers to obtain site specific data such as, production, occupancy, Operational times etc, in order to support the delivery of EMaaS.
* Collect and screen data Carbon reporting (SECR or Netzero).
* Undertake triage of data alerts for the Energy Control Centre and raise relevant alerts to the Energy managers & Customers.
* Provision of automatic reports for energy usage patterns to support audit team in identifying energy and carbon reductions.
* Collaborate with sales team on business development, acting as a point of reference for EPT services.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* A demonstrably high level of IT literacy with the ability to manipulate, analyse and present data effectively.
* Experience of explaining data analysis and presenting reports to colleagues both on paper and in person.
* Experience of data quality management within a working context, working logically within set procedures and regulations.
* Ability to set own objectives, review progress, work within timescales and determine priorities to see tasks through to a successful outcome.
* Proven ability to work with others to discuss and agree project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
* Strong analysis skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions.
* A high level of attention to detail with the ability to implement checks and measures to ensure the quality and integrity of data
