We are currently looking for a Graduate Recruitment Officer to join an international law firm based in Glasgow on a 12 month FTC.

Working with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and wider Graduate Recruitment team, which consists of two other Graduate Recruitment Officers and a Graduate Recruitment Assistant, to deliver a highly competitive and sophisticated graduate attraction and recruitment strategy and campaign for the company.

Specific responsibilities and duties include:

With the assistance of the Graduate Recruitment Assistant, co-ordinating and acting as key firm brand ambassador and contact point for universities, candidates and other third parties
Delivery of virtual and on-campus events lead on the delivery of the firm's vacation placement programme
Lead on the delivery of the firms' Insight Programmes / Open Days
Recruitment contact and liaison for law faculty contacts, career services and student societies in connection with firm events and programmes
Screening and shortlisting of candidates for assessment centres for all programmes delivered by the wider Early Talent team including vacation placement, training contracts and work experience
Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders of the business to enable and facilitate the Graduate Recruitment attraction and recruitment strategy
Involvement in the creation, development and delivery of graduate recruitment diversity and inclusion strategies and events
Building and maintaining relationships with a range of candidates across the recruitment process from application to offer and beyond
Providing verbal feedback to applicants for the various early talent programmes both successful and unsuccessful
Involved in the delivery of the annual assessment centres for all early talent opportunities
working with the wider team and colleagues across business to provide new social media content and using social media in the attraction, recruitment and continued engagement of candidates

Key Skills

Proven project planning and management skills (management of projects from start to finish will be required)
Recruitment experience
Experience of dealing with all levels of staff, including senior stakeholders, in a persuasive and credible manner
Ability to interact with candidates at marketing events and assessments and build relationships
Comfortable making presentations to candidate groups and senior colleagues (thinking of supervisor training etc.)
Excellent listening and problem solving skills
Solid understanding and experience of using social media in marketing, recruitment and selection
Knowledge of diversity and inclusion challenges within early talent market (desirable?)
Highly organised and skilled in prioritising

Relevant Experience

Experience of working within the early talent market
Experience of working in a professional services environment (desirable)


Educated to degree level standard and /orCIPD
