Pocket Intelligence are looking for a software development apprentice to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and practice cutting edge IT technologies in Web and Mobile App development.

Pocket Intelligence Ltd. is a local Information Technology firm who provides Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) Till System, Online Ordering service and Payment Solutions

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Developing new features
  • Maintain existing system in both front-end and back-end.
  • Developing web apps in Angular 2+ with Android and iOS.
  • Helping to maintain the back-end dashboard and develop new features according to our development roadmap.
  • You will also participate in developing our new product "Pocket Pay" and helping establish the collaboration platform for local businesses


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Programming experience from degree studies (ideally in C#, Java)
  • Basic web development skills (HTML + CSS + JQuery, Angular 2+)
  • Mobile App development experience (iOS, Android)
  • Knowledge Databases (SQL Server)
  • Good work planning skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Programming experience preferred

  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to meet personal and team sales targets
  • Ability of problem solving


Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and maths).
