Business Administration Apprentice (Level 3)
Location: Slough
Salary: GBP1400.00 to GBP(phone number removed) pa (age dependant)
Contract: 15-month apprenticeship with possible conversion to full time post after end point assessment
Hours: Hours per Week: 40 Hours (Mon-Fri 0830am-1730pm with one hours of unpaid lunch break)
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to complete a 15-month Business Administration Apprenticeship with the view to possible full-time employment after end point assessment.
Business Administration Apprentice: The Role
This is a dynamic role, where you will learn and develop various skills and knowledge required for a successful career in business administration and customer service!
You will be involved in assisting the team in varied aspects, including recruitment, customer support and administration.
In addition to this you will:
• Telephone and video screen our students/candidates
• Prepare candidates for interview and complete interview de-brief
• Maintain candidate databases and trackers
• Complete various administrative duties relating to recruitment/HR and Business Development
• Post roles to job boards, LinkedIn and on the website
• Manage recruitment folders on the secure share drive to collate and distribute all recruitment paperwork securely
• Schedule interviews and run assessments
• Work closely with the apprenticeship funding and compliance team to ensure all due diligence is covered.
• Be onboarding Apprentices and system updates, including scheduling inductions.
• Support the Apprenticeship team on any administrative tasks including Data analysis and reporting
• Provide support with the organisation and running of events
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective working
• Proactively resolve issues and identify improvements for future. Take an innovative approach to streamlining processes and improving our service offering internally
• Ensure a positive candidate experience
• Ad-hoc project work to support the Recruitment functions strategic objectives
• Provide support to the wider HR team when needed
• Shortlist and submit CV's against internal vacancies
• Work with internal hiring managers to understand new vacancies
• Advertise vacancies on social media and online job boards
Learn and develop basic IT skills as you provide support to customers
About you
When you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to continue with a higher level of apprenticeship (eg. Level 4-6) or to progress into full time employment.
In order to be considered for this role you must:
• Be living in England
• Not be in full-time education
• Friendly and have good interpersonal skills
• Motivated
• Enthusiastic
• Reliable
• Self- discipline
• Willingness to learn and to be involved in multiple business functions
It would be great if you:
• Have GCSE in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
• Are Computer literate
• Have a high level of written and spoken English
• Are organised and able to work under pressure
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Are able to work as part of a team
• Have a logical approach to problem solving
• Have an excellent telephone manner with clear and effective communication skills
