Vacancy descriptionA fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, independent telecommunications business. We are looking for a bright, keen individual to join our team. You will primarily assist our Technical Support Specialist.

You will already have an interest in technology and will develop an in-depth knowledge of handsets, products, and systems we use.

You must have excellent computing skills, experience with Microsoft products, confidence to diagnose and repair basic hardware issues.

Working within a fast moving, growing business, you must be willing to learn, and be able to absorb knowledge quickly. The role will include a variety of tasks and will require someone with a level of maturity and a professional attitude towards work.

Duties will include:

Resolve first-line/second line queries or faults, which may involve liaising with third party suppliers
Ensuring all tickets are logged within our CRM system
Answering the telephone
Visiting client's premises to assist with onsite installations
Analysing data, such as line usage and assist with client billing
Preparation of paperwork ready for processing
Handling existing customer enquiries via phone and email. This may include anything from landline faults to billing queries, network issues to handset configuration

The role involves a high percentage of problem solving and good communication skills to guide users through to resolution while providing the highest level of support.
