Developing University and Institutional links What you will do:

As a Mining Engineer Graduate, you will:

Support the geological and mining team in providing technical mining assistance and mining-specific health, safety, environmental and other services.
Provide technical assistance to all mine sites and undertake mine secondments where required.
Actively promotes safe working practices and promote safety and environmental incident reporting at all sites
Assist with central and site-based projects to improve technical knowledge.
Complete secondments to mines requiring assistance.
Assist with commissioning of new equipment and mine districts.
Develop professionally recognised training/assessment packages for new and existing equipment.
Utilise software to complete mine design, mine planning and ventilation modelling. What you'll need:

A degree in Mining or Minerals Engineering
Ideally a Post Graduate qualification in Mining or Minerals Engineering
A good understanding of mining processes
Ideally experience in underground mines
Have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and can apply your knowledge working with a diverse range of projects.
