The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) is a leading independent school for boys and girls aged three to 18. Our campus is a greenfield site at Alwoodley Gates in north Leeds, well-placed for families from across North and West Yorkshire.

Under our 'diamond model' structure, children learn in single sex classes from ages 11 to 16, while benefiting from shared form time and co-curricular activities. The Extended Project Qualification enables pupils to develop research skills and self-motivation.

Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice with The Grammar School at Leeds, a leading independent school based in Leeds.

* You will support the work of other members of the team for example helping at events, school outreach activity and covering reception.

* Any other assistance as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Principal or other senior manager in order to facilitate the efficient running of the school.

* All staff employed by The Grammar School at Leeds are expected to take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom they are responsible or with whom they come into contact.

* All staff should be aware of the school's health and safety policy and implement it as appropriate.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

* Manage the school's social media channels aimed at prospective parents and alumni including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

* Create social media campaigns which effectively communicates the school's offering.

* Support the development of specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of engagement, build trust and communicate key messages.

* Identify potential stories and content for the school's social media channels.

* Create, manage and deliver a social media calendar of activities which raise the profile of the school.

* Work with stakeholders including SLT, Directors of Faculty, Heads of Departments, student societies and others to identify and create compelling and engaging content.

* Measure and report on the performance of social media and social campaigns using Google Analytics, Hootsuite and other online tracking tools.

* Stay up to date with social media developments and generate new ideas to draw and engage the audience's attention.

* Assisting with visiting photographers and videographers.

* Assisting with the collation and distribution of the parents' weekly bulletin and in due course the parent app/portal.

* Any other assistance as may be required from time to time by the post holder's line manager in order to facilitate the efficient running of either service for example covering reception and helping with events.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
