We are seeking dedicated, motivated people to help us provide high quality care to our local communities. In return for your hard work, we offer well-established, structured mentoring and staff development packages to support you in your role.

After applying via NHS Jobs, your submitted application will be imported into our preferred Third-party recruitment system. All subsequent information regarding your application will be generated from apps.trac.jobs. You will not be able to track the progress of your application or receive messages through the NHS Jobs website, and furthermore, as an employer, we will not be able to respond to any e-mails sent to us via the NHS Jobs website. By applying for this post, you are agreeing to Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust transferring the information contained in this application to its preferred applicant management system. If you are appointed to a post information will also be transferred into the national NHS Electronic Staff Records system

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Ward 22 team who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high quality nursing care.

Ward 22 is an acute Medical admissions ward; located in the New Clinical Facility and also takes care of patients with Covid-19. It is a massive opportunity to develop your specialist acute skills in a working and training environment that encourages all staff to perform to their best. You will be supported in all areas of professional development; and this includes access to the practice development team, and specialist nurses both inside the hospital and in the community.

In addition, to further support you in your role, the Trust can also offer accredited leadership and management training: Level 5 - Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership. This apprenticeship is fully funded and specifically designed to meet the needs of middle leaders wishing to acquire a range of management knowledge and skills, and thus develop their career.

The ideal candidates should be innovative and have the ability to think and plan for the long term, as the management encourages all staff to voice their opinions. It is a busy ward, therefore, you have to have resilience and be able to understand team work.

If you have what it takes and up for a challenge we would love to hear from you!
