Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer the opportunity of an AAT Apprenticeship within our Income and Costing Team based at our headquarters, Sentinel House in Poole.

You will undertake a level 2 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Apprenticeship.

The aim is to improve the capacity of the Trust to adequately support four particular areas of the enlarged Trust's activities:

Contract Management
Contract Development
National Submissions for Income Generation
Alignment of Contract and Finance Information

This role will:

Support the Contracting and Performance Accountant and other members of the Income and Costing Team in providing advice and information to support contract management on behalf of the Trust.

Manage the Trust's contracts register (database) on a daily basis.

Assist in the review of income contracts and provide advice to service managers as appropriate.

Ensure that appropriate controls are in place and maintained to deliver the financial duties and objectives of the Trust.

You will be a valued member of our busy and friendly team and assist in the effective and smooth running of our Income and Costing team.

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust will provide: A dedicated mentor to support you through your apprenticeship, providing support and advice within the workplace, as well as helping you manage the balance of work and apprenticeship studies.

You will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally and will be encouraged to attend our in-house training courses and shadow colleagues from other services. There may be further opportunities depending on your interests and strengths.

As an employee of Dorset HealthCare you will have access to our extensive e-learning platform to help support your growth and development in your new role.
