Are you an ACC or experienced time-served Clinical Coder? Are you looking to relocate to beautiful Devon? A full-time permanent vacancy has now become available within the Clinical Coding Department of Torbay and South Devon NHS foundation Trust.

Clinical coding is part of the Health Informatics department and currently located at Torbay Hospital. The candidate will have achieved Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status the recognised National Clinical Coding Qualification. However, we welcome interest from Clinical Coders with extensive practical experience in coding a wide range of specialties using ICD10 and OPCS4 who are committed to studying towards the qualification to achieve ACC status.

Working to tight deadlines as part of a busy team ensuring timely and accurate clinical coding and adhering to national coding standards and best practice guidelines, the successful applicant will be computer literate with knowledge of patient administration systems. Crucially, they must be enthusiastic, possess good communication skills, demonstrate in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology and medical terminology and be capable of organising their own workload.
