2 x Assistant Project Managers/ Planners required to shadow existing Management Team to learn all aspects of Construction Management.

Ongoing training to be provided and the successful candidate will have already undertaken either degree or relevant NVQ level courses.

Whilst the position is office based (Orpington), travel to site will be frequent.

Our works are predominantly new build and refurbishment, and we work within London and the South East.

Projects can be large or small. Every project needs to be managed to ensure its success.

An associate project manager whilst shadowing the Management Team will knowwhat needs to be achieved, how it will be achieved, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Working closely with the Management Team to achieve the required outcomes.

Associate project managers need good planning, organisation, leadership, management and communication skills.

An associate project manager utilises resources with suitable skills, qualifications, experience and knowledge to work together in a motivated and integrated team.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Full working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Power Project
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to problem-solve

Personal qualities

The successful applicants will have a 'can-do', positive attitude and be
willing to work hard to achieve their goals.

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English Grades A*-Cor 9-4
  • A-Level qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Construction Management Certificate or equivalent NVQ preferred
