Do you want to work in a state of the art Endoscopy Unit, with seven procedure rooms?

Do you want to work in a fast paced environment where you are supported by a hardworking, friendly and forward thinking team?

Then this could be the job for you.

The Unit is expanding, therefore we are looking for Endoscopy Technicians to join our team. Duties of the role include ; airway management for patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy procedures such as, Gastroscopies, Colonoscopies, PEG, ERCP and EBUS procedures.

The successful post holder will also assist Endoscopists with biopsies, and undertake small polypectomies. You will support the Registered Nurses with the admission and discharge processes on the Unit.

Previous Endoscopy experience is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be given. We have two dedicated Clinical Educators to facilitate your training, and support with professional development.

Working hours are currently rostered over 8am- 8pm Monday to Friday, with shorter hours on a weekend at present to cover Inpatient Endoscopy lists. These hours are subject to change upon the needs of the service.

DBS Checks - All new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. The charges are currently £27.20 for a standard check and £44.20 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for. Please note that Volunteers and Bank only staff will not be charged.
