On 1st February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust - a truly once-in a generation development. Applicants for October 2021 Cohort

Would you like to rotate across three dynamic specialist clinical areas to start or further develop your nursing career? We are looking for a newly qualified or experienced Band 5 nurses who are ambitious and inspired by change to join our leading 18 month Cardiorespiratory Rotation Programme at Harefield Hospital. As a candidate you'll have an opportunity to gain experience working in three 6-month clinical placement areas, which may include:

Cardiology

• Surgery

• Transplant

• Critical Care Unit

Each placement will enable you to advance your nursing skills, knowledge and support your progression in your nursing career. There is a tailored supervision and education package with protected time to support your continuing development. This includes Preceptorship, study days, support from a dedicated education supervisor, practice educators and enthusiastic clinical mentors. Written assignments at the end of each placement will enhance the development of your academic writing and critical thinking.

Once you have successfully completed your placements, we will give you a guaranteed job. Furthermore, after the rotation programme, opportunities are available to progress in your professional career development; such as university modules, MSc pathways and in-house clinical education and leadership programmes.
