An exceptional opportunity has arisen for graduates to apply to join a Health Care Management Graduate Trainee Scheme in North Wales commencing in September 2021. During the training programme the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across health care services including primary care, community hospitals, secondary care and children's services. Key skills will be developed in leadership, finance and workforce management equipping the trainee to apply for managerial vacancies in the North Wales Health Sector.

As part of a higher level apprenticeship scheme the successful applicants will be sponsored to attend college to achieve a managerial diploma to further develop and accredit the skills acquired in the workplace. If you are able to use your own initiative and be proactive this is an ideal opportunity to launch a successful career in the health service. You will gain extensive knowledge and skills to help you secure a role on completion of the 2 year programme. Throughout the scheme mentoring will be provided by members of the senior management team

As a member of the management team you will be able to understand and enhance the health of the people of North Wales, adopting a long term approach to improving health. The ability to establish credibility quickly with a range of stakeholders and to persuade and influence staff and managers will be key. Our managers work collaboratively and collegiately, and are source of both professional challenge and support. We expect that you can demonstrate an excellent awareness of the changing profile of health. We are looking for visionary and motivated leaders of the future, who have the skills and sensitivity to deliver through partnerships and in a political environment. You will have excellent people influencing skills and the ability to operate effectively in a complex financial environment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
