Education and Training Administrator - band 3 - 37.5 hpw full time - fixed term 1 year maternity cover

Could you help West Suffolk Hospital to deliver the best quality and safest care to our local community?

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Workforce Education team, based in the HR & Communications Directorate at the West Suffolk NHS Trust. This role is a fixed term 12 month maternity cover post.

Typical duties within the role includes;
  • Liaising with trainers & managers in relation to training enquiries
  • Booking venues
  • Producing correspondence/information for attendees
  • Facilitate the eLearning training sessions
  • Input attendance on OLM in a timely manner
  • Collate course evaluation sheets for feedback
  • Provide administrative support to various educational groups; plan and organise meetings as required
  • To assist in the administration of Non-Clinical apprenticeships

  • The ideal candidate will be methodical and organised with excellent attention to detail.

    Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working effectively as part of a successful team alongside having excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills and experience in using databases and in-house operating systems.

    The candidate should have excellent communication, administration and organisational skills.

    If required to work on a weekend, the restriction does not apply Parking is allowed on site Saturday and Sunday please visit the car park office before you leave site and the car park team will validate your parking at the staff daily rate.

    For posts that include "on call" duties successful candidates will be able to access on site parking for their 'on call' rostered days only. Please provide details of your on call days to the car park office who will validate parking at the staff rate on these days only.
