MC Personnel have an excellent opportunity to join our busy team!

If you would like to kickstart your career into recruitment this role is for you!

Based within our Gillingham High Street office, it is a busy environment with a steady flow of people, phones ringing and a constant buzz!

Duties will include:

* Answering the phones, speaking to callers, taking messages and passing on calls to other members of the team.

* Making outgoing calls with instructions from other members of the team such as chasing for registration forms, ID checks, helping people find work, giving out shift times etc...

* Administration - this can be varied but could include data entry onto the system, scanning files, sending out emails and post, registering workers onto our database.

* Helping to monitor and use our Social Media and Website - such as replying to messages, creating posts, replying to comments on posts, placing job adverts.

* Creating and placing job advertisements on a number of different places such as job boards.

* Helping Consultants to recruit for vacancies both temp and perm.

* Assisting the Accounts and Transport department with administration if required.

* Greeting members of the public who enter the office (Covid measures in place)

As mentioned this is a fast paced environment, no two days are the same! However if you love "being in the thick of it", enjoy getting to speak to and meet new people and want to work with a truly great, friendly and fun loving team then get in touch!

You will have the opportunity to complete a NVQ in a chosen subject such as Recruitment / Office Admin or Customer Service (various levels of course available). This can be delivered via a on site NVQ Assessor who comes in to see you or you may wish to attend college 1 day per week for a set period of time.

Previous experience

Previous experience is not required! However we would like you to:

* Be someone who likes interacting with people - Being a people person is important in our industry. This doesn't mean you have to be a loud or chatty person all the time, but you will need to speak to people you have never met before on a daily basis, so a little confidence helps!

* Have some good basic IT and literacy skills - you will use the PC a lot and you will be communicating in different ways such as on Social Media and in emails, so being able to do this is quite important.

* Be reliable - Everyone in our team is important and if someone is missing regularly it can have a knock on effect, so being reliable with good timekeeping is important in the role.

* Be flexible - You may have to do lots of different jobs and you will always be learning something new. This might mean stepping outside your comfort zone on occasions.

In addition to your annual salary there are opportunities to earn a portion of a shared monthly Branch Bonus. In addition you will receive direct training from a number of experienced and skilled Recruiters and Managers who will help you to take that next step into becoming a Recruitment Consultant should you choose to!

Salary & Hours
Starting Apprenticeship wage - GBP745 per month (GBP8944) + bonuses.
Whilst on an Apprenticeship we will cover the cost of any public transport to get too and from work as well as offering some home working hours once trained.

MC Personnel is located close to local train and bus stops (3 min walk) and there are several car parks locally.
