This LSA role will give you experience with SEN and some Anti-Social Behaviour, if you are sincere about your objectives within mental health then this role will let you qualify and disqualify different roles.

Understanding the different effects on mental health in Maidenhead and the UUK, how that can affect Autism and the mental health of children and young adults in the area. Each student will have a different context; will have been through different forms of trauma.

CBT and ABA Therapy make the foundations of this outstanding school where positive engagement is the approach of the school. If you raise your voice, this school is not for you.

It is vital you are sincere about your objectives and know why you want to work in the mental health sector and provide the best possible foundations for vulnerable students who have suffered several traumas and have been tragically let down by the adult world. These roles are not easy and it takes months, years to build foundations with vulnerable students and young learners. Some of the foundations you set, you may never see the positive results that come of it. Empathy is the key here, not sympathy and you must know why you want to work with the boys in your care.

This role will be good practice, enabling you to build foundations before starting an MSc or Research project; 18 months will put those foundations in place for you.

Please apply today for this LSA role focused on Mental Health Support and Autism in Maidenhead - we will contact you within 24 hours if you have a suitable application.
