Duties will include:
  • Organising travel and meetings
  • Finance and Risk Management - assisting Matter Partners and other fee earners with managing monthly billing procedures, cash collection and credit control processes
  • Supporting the production of team performance reporting
  • Dealing with all file management tasks to ensure full compliance with Foot Anstey practices and procedures to include, for example, Lexcel, Code of Conduct, and anti-Money Laundering
  • All adhoc administration duties such as filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Producing/amending letters/documents/spreadsheets/presentations in line with housestyle policies
  • Dealing with file opening and accompanying maintenance procedures to include production of terms of business letters, confirmation of instruction letters, ID checks and the entering of entities and capacities on each new client/matter file
  • Managing diaries and co-ordinating travel and meetings and room bookings/catering and budget codes
  • Dealing with file closing tasks, to include all file closing activities

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other colleagues internally, both within the wider team and across all practice areas and across corporate geographies (our client teams are cross geography)
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to achieve tasks quickly and accurately meeting the needs of the fee earners in the team
  • Excellent IT skills across the MS suite of programmes along with a willingness to learn new computer packages
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and to be proactive where opportunities are identified

Desired qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 and above to include maths and English
