As a Report Developer you will working to ensure that our EPOS and business solution systems deliver on their promise to help our customers to grow their businesses by giving them easily digestible access to key information.

We are looking for someone who can do all this to join the team at Crossover Technologies!

The role:

On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in the following tasks:
  • Build datasets and reports in SQL Server Reporting Services & other technologies
  • Review datasets to understand customer data
  • Create data exports to 3rd party systems such as E-Commerce and Accountancy.
  • Maintain a library of BI functions
  • Source and implement translations
  • Review SQL performance and optimise queries
  • Ad-hoc. Help out other departments when required, such as support or design input.

The skills and experience:

You should have some skills/experience in the areas below and be ready to learn the rest.
  • A good understanding of SQL with an interest in learning more
  • SSRS
  • SQL Server
  • Other reporting and dashboard tools

  • Excellent organisation & communication skills

  • Ability to quickly acquire new skills
  • Knowledge of golf and sport products useful

Additional Experience:
Any experience of the following is an advantage.
  • Understanding of currencies, tax, margins, turnover etc.

  • UX design skills

Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs (especially English, mathematics and a science or technology subject) and/or an A Level or Level 3 Apprenticeship, other relevant qualifications and experience; or an aptitude test with a focus on IT skills.

Future prospects

Looking for someone to join the team and to progress into a full-time position within the support department on successful completion of apprenticeship.

Things to consider

The role could involve some travel supporting the team with customer site visits.

32 days paid holiday during each complete year of service which is made up of 24 days plus 8 Statutory Bank and Public holidays (pro rata for part time staff). On completion of 4- and 5-years' service you will receive an extra day's annual leave entitlement respectively. The holiday year runs from January 1st to December 31st.
