We're on the hunt for a superstar apprentice to join us a TWA - we're one of Lancashire's best and fastest-growing PR and communications agencies and you will play a key role in the success of our clients.

This exciting role will see you work alongside a talented team of PR, social media, marketing and communications experts, who will provide you with the knowledge and hands-on experience to thrive in our industry.

We're a fun, innovative and fast-paced agency where you will have the responsibility and remit to make a big impact, whilst servicing clients both in the UK and overseas.

We operate in various sectors, with our clients spanning beauty, construction, professional services, finance, engineering, tech, manufacturing and more, and you'll play a big role in the PR, content and social media strategies for these businesses.

As our PR & Communications Assistant, you will develop the skills to:
  • Build strong relationships, including developing contacts within the media and presenting ideas to clients, colleagues and other parties
  • Assist with client campaigns, including desk research, event coordination, database management and reporting
  • Produce content by using an effective written communication style tailored to different audiences and media channels

Distribute content to maximise positive communications opportunities by:
  • Using media relations process, pitching in stories
  • Creating media / influencer lists
  • Using all key digital / social channels, networks and platforms
  • Using search marketing techniques, email marketing and paid media, including the use of Google, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Use IT to support campaignssuch as media databases and media monitoring tools to deliver activity

Evaluate results by:
  • Using appropriate systems and software to accurately log outputs and results e.g. coverage, social media reach and event attendance
  • Reporting on findings and activity in a meaningful way to your manager
  • Analyse the impact of activity

  • Previous experience is a strong advantage in a similar role, but above all it is the personality

Desired qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths at grade 4 (C) or above is desired

  • Our aim is for our apprentice to transition into a full-time member of staff and develop a long-term PR career with the agency


Things to consider

Location:Chorley, Lancashire.

Essential travel will berequired for this role, some travel to and from client sites.
